BOUTIQ Boston is aware of the recent Enforcement Announcement published by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC), impacting certain products from Holistic Industries, including some Carbon Fiber, Frosted Jungle, Highland OG and Silver Kush strains. These products, though tested and certified for sale, were retested and found to contain levels of yeast and mold above limits set by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. BOUTIQ Boston did not sell these specific batch numbers, but we did sell these strains from Holistic Industries with different batch numbers. Though we are not a part of the current Enforcement Action from the CCC, we share the concerns that you may have about product safety.
As a company that puts your satisfaction with our products above all else, we are deeply unhappy to learn about this. Like all dispensaries, we rigorously test our own products, and we expect our partners to do the same. Everything we sell has been approved by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, and it is disappointing to learn that “approved” products did not, in fact, meet standards for sale. We call on the CCC to provide more clarity around this, including when these products were retested and why sales were not halted sooner.
We want to assure our customers that we will not be selling any of the contaminated batches from Holistic Industries. After careful consideration, we’ve decided not to purchase any more products from them moving forward. We are committed to offering only the safest and highest-quality flower, and we have an excellent selection of premium products to choose from. We will not be accepting any product that could be contaminated or requires remediation, as your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities.
